A veteran of the South African fashion magazine industry, Carla Uys has now turned her fashion-savvy eye to focus on styling. Starting out a fashion intern, at Heat Magazine nine years ago. Carla's love for fashion and a keen eye for trends ensured her rapid rise in the industry. After just a short stint assisting, she was promoted to deputy fashion editor at Woman & Home Magazine and won the Caxton's Rising Star and Best Fashion Feature awards. She then became fashion editor at Cleo Magazine, and remained so for four years until the publication closed, before moving on to become fashion editor of Cosmopolitan Magazine. Carla's editorial stories are characterised by her ability to blend seemingly different styles and genres together to create harmonious looks that are unique, fresh and edgy. She approaches each project like it's her first, and is constantly striving to be the best.
