Tamaryn van Tonder lives and breathes makeup. With over 12 years experience in the industry, she knows how to interpret briefs and realise a client‘s vision. Tamaryn views herself as an integral part of any on-set creative team, working closely with stylists, photographers and directors to create compelling characters and campaigns. With an obsessive eye for details and a professional work ethic, Tamaryn believes in setting the mood on set and can always be relied upon to bring a friendly, fun attitude to projects she works on. Her expertise spans the full spectrum of looks, from soft natural beauty to detailed special effects. Tamaryn has done makeup for TV, magazines, brand stills, ad campaigns and product launches. She has worked on Miss SA 2013 – 2015, Idols Season 10, 11, 12 and Fashion Week 2014 – 2015. Her list of publication titles includes Grazia, Longevity, Destiny, Sarie, and her extensive brand stills client list includes Edgars, Jet, Cell C, Vodacom, Jack Daniels, Nedbank, Samsung and Montecasino amongst many others. Tamaryn has worked on many TVCs for brands such as Legit, Bidvest, Heineken, JC le Roux and Wine Gums. She has also done product launches and press releases for Dove, Audi, Black Coffee, Lux, Volkswagen and others.
