Andrea Baioni
Andrea Baioni is a Milanese fashion and editorial photographer whose dramatic, memorable images draw heavily on classical art traditions. His visual signature — natural lighting paired with sophisticated, sculptural composition — has become a defining feature of his work, and it regularly appears in Vogue Italia's online edition, cementing his reputation within Italian fashion photography.
His entry into the industry happened almost by accident. While studying law in 2010, Andrea began shooting backstage and runway images for prominent Milanese designer Antonio Marras, a project that ended up pulling him fully into the fashion world rather than back toward his original field of study. That early experience led to a steady stream of collaborations with fashion brands and designers, gradually building the foundation of his current career.
He now regularly travels between Milan and Africa, shooting with major models and fashion brands, and his work has also been featured in exhibitions documenting Italian photographers' engagement with the African continent, extending his reach beyond fashion into broader cultural documentation.
