Lesedi Mothoagae
Lesedi Mothoagae was awarded best visual techniques in his final year of Multimedia Technology Design at the University of Johannesburg in 2016. His love for telling stories through visuals of the people he encountered growing up in Soweto led him to pursue photography after graduating. He worked his way up from assisting photographers he loved and respected to shooting commercial images on our Rise board. Today Lesedi is working as a commercial photographer, shooting both stills and commercial films for local and international clients. His distinctive style is influenced by his background in digital media design and his love for those he meets on South Africa's streets.
